Yes, you would need a 5" backing plate with that kit. I am not a fan of the CCS pads. They soak in far too much product for my liking. If I am not using Meguiars pads, I like Buff & Shine pads much more than Lake Country. They are machine washable, and the backing won't come off like I have had LC pads do. Autodetailingsolutions.com sells Buff & Shine pads. Why not call Rick at ADS and see what he can do for you on a package.
