    pc7424xp speeds?

    I just purchased a pc7424xp and unsure of which speeds to use to do the different tasks of detailing a car.

    I am using Meguiars foam pads (5").

    Speed for
    Cutting?
    Polishing?
    Waxing?

    Any and all help would be appreciated.

    This is what I do

    Compounding - speed 5
    Polishing - speed 5
    Waxing - speed 3-4
    99 Grand Prix
    02 Camaro SS

      I have read and watched videos that concur with what Guz wrote. Orange pad for cutting, yellow or white pad for polish and black (soft) pad for wax/polymer.
      If you always do what you always did, you always get what you always got.
