Hello all,
New to the forum, not new to bikes.
My winter project is this Honda XR 100 conversion (CR80 suspension). I'm getting down to the fine details and could use your help.
The fenders are 27 years old, the fuel tank is 25 (I like Honda's 'Torch Red' from the mid 80s).
I've sanded the fenders to 1000 grit to get rid of the fading and corrosion, the colour is great however; no shine.
I have a friend of mine who has a massive floor mounted polishing / buffing wheel, but I'm not sure what compound to use to bring out the shine.
Any thoughts?
TIA,
Rob.
