  • Bee Vomit/Poo removal

    Hello all!
I've get these "yellow" spots on my car for the all the time!
I always thought they were from some "strange tree that followed me everywhere!"

Just found out, form Joe, they're Bee vomit/poo
So I'm just "picking" them off with my plastic razor blade
I took some kewl pics, thought you'd like to see them

    A nice micro shoot

I'm not sure I ever wanted to know what bee poo looks like ... but now I do! Amazing the things one can learn here at MOL.

Well they say, A person should learn at least one new thing per day.

      This definitely qualifies. Lol

That's what those yellow/green spots are? I just thought it was another form of bird dropping. Makes sense, I guess. I usually get those spots just after I wash the car and apply Last Touch and/or UQD. The bees are probably attracted to the scent of the chemicals.

Did Joe mention if bee vomit is as much an etching threat as bird droppings?

I can't say that I've ever noticed that before, and come to think of it, I'm kind of glad for that fact

Nice macro shot. I get those on my car all the time. I thought it's a type of tree sap too. I can't believe they're bug vomit b/c there's so much... Bugs need to stop puking.

As you can see from the last pic, no
Plus it is "Royal Jelly" which should contain bee's wax, so it's a wax base and not acid based, I'm assuming here, so you know what that means!

Hmmm I wonder if bee's excrement taste like honey!

Licked some today, had no tast.
I think I'll have to collect a bunch to get a proper sample
                          Stay tuned!

LOL!! As long as you don't extract samples from live bees. I'm sure they wouldn't too pleased and you might get you tongue stung!
