  • Drop the price of your sheepskin mitts!

Hey, I like the sheepskin wash mitts you sell, but they are a nice $5 mitt. Unfortunately you sell them for $13. If you sold them for $5-6, I'd buy them regularly from you like I do foam applicators and tire swipes. Getting all those together makes the shipping cost not so bad, plus there's usually something else I need like a bottle of #00 or #36. Please lower the price and I'll load up on those as well!

Ditto here I usually buy my applicators from Meguiars by the dozen on a regular basis. At the cost of the mitts I make them last a year whereas if they were in the 5-6 dollar range I would probably replace them sooner and be inclined to buy more than one at a time.

That's what I do too. Usually I'll get 12 applicators and some tire swipes with whatever thing I need to order at the time. I actually have about 20 applicators that I haven't used yet, so I might have to cut back a bit on that...

I'd like to pick one of the mitts up but not at that price.. I'm thinking about 50% off.

Meguiar's has a couple wash mitts to choose from. The major difference is that one priced at $12.95 is Genuine Sheepswool.

            Here's some more information:

            Lambs Wool Wash Mitt
A natural lambs wool mitt has all kinds of advantages. It's softer, more durable and it holds more water. So it's faster to wash with and gentler to your paint. It also has a remarkable ability to pick up and trap dust. So it's an easy way to touch up your dashboard and other interior surfaces, too.

            G-405 $12.95

            Spun Gold Wash Mitt
Guaranteed to out perform your old mitt! This luxurious 2" deep pile will absorb and release water at the precise rate required to wash a surface safely. The deep nap acts as an absorber to lift dirt from the surface, and release your favorite suds! Size 7" x 12".

            G-402 ....................1 $4.95

            Hope this helps,

Right, I understand Lynn, but there are genuine sheepskin mitts that are much cheaper than $13. There are also ones that are more at some online places. Those sometimes have some story about being from some special sheep or whatever, and they do tend to be fairly large mitts, but they are also overpriced. Those SM Arnold ones can often be found locally in the $5 range (not by me unfortunately).

I currently get Viking genuine sheepskin mitts from Autopia for about $8-9, and it's a bit larger than the SM Arnold one, and has a thumb, but otherwise they are basically the same.

Even some multi-discount would be nice, like you do for foam applicator pads. I wouldn't be real happy paying $1.50 for one pad, but 12 for $5.88 is a great buy. Maybe if you had like 1 for $10, 2 for $16, 4 for $24 or something?

I'd buy 4 at a time (and actually, I just did buy 4 from David) if they were at a reasonable price.
