I know how to copy/paste the URL but I see people Inserting links and giving them a new name/description that you actually click on. Can someone explain how to do this?

Re: How to insert a link?
Yes...
When you get the URL copied, click on the little button that has a picture of the earth and a lock and chain on it.
Paste the link into there.
Then once it is pasted into your message, click on the part that is highlighted blue and type what ever you want into there.
Or if it is put into the message already as a link, highlight it and start typing your text in.

Re: How to insert a link?
You type the word that you want the link to say.
Then you highlight the words, and press the button for the link(earth with a link)
Then you paste your link in that box and click ok.Joel

Re: How to insert a link?
If you want your link to say 5 step process, and you want your link to point to http://meguiarsonlie.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37320, do the following:
1. Highlight the link and type control-C to put it in your copy buffer.
2. Type the words "5 step process" and select these 3 words to highlight them.
3. Then click the "insert link" icon, the blue one.
4. You will be prompted for the URL of the link. Since the link is in your copy buffer, you type control-V and it will copy the link into this field for you.
5. Click OK, and voila, you have the link 5 step process that will take you to http://meguiarsonlie.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37320 when you click it.
Hint, when you type control-V to paste in the link box, erase the http:/ first or it will be in there twice.
Looks like this link didn't go anywhere, but that is the idea.
