  • Hey

I'm David. I'll try to change that mistake, Davd
I like the Meguiars Soft Wash Gel, which never seems to be in the stores so I mail order 4 every so often.
I currently use Turtle Wax carnuba but will consider a new product if I can see an improvement by it.

I do not like 'shine' or 'gloss'. My purpose for wax is protection, and to make the paint or surface last, and look new longer.

I do not like glossy or shiny tires either.

Like patent leather shoes, I don't like. I prefer a plain black shoe that just looks like black leather.

I am considering the Thursday seminar or class or product demonstration with regard to my motorcycle. It is plastic, or carbon fiber, I don't know, I will have to find out, and I'm looking for a wax for it, that is not GLOSSY OR SHINY, and that is not ABRASIVE.

I avoid 'cleaner' carnuba, which all the stores have now, as I understand that is abrasive.

My motorcycle is gray metallic matt, which means it is not glossy and shiny, which is what I wanted, but I want a protection on it.

I also am concerned about the wheels, which are alloy, aluminum, maybe with some powder coat or something, so I would like a protectorant, BUT NOT polish, as I am NOT trying to achieve gloss or shine, and, since they are new, there is no dirt that needs to be scrubbed, buffed or polished off.

These are my statements and I will post questions elsewhere. I did like that clay use video but I have no use for it at this time. I run my hand on my cars and get a silky smooth feel, but for later cleaning or any new car (like that truck) that is purchased dirty, I will be ready for that.

I also want some info on towels and will try to find some forum topic there.

    David
