    Greetings

    Hullo!

    I've been lurking for a few weeks, and I've finally gotten up the nerve to ask a few questions.

    Just wanted to to say a quick "Hullo!" and introduce myself first.

    I just recently purchased a new 2008 Mustang Bullitt. I'm 46 and it's the first car I've ever purchased that wasn't a "daily driver" or a "family truck".

    I've taken care of ALL of my cars, of course, but this one is very special. Whatever is on-sale at Wal-Mart isn't the rule of the day on the new car.

    I've waited my whole life for a car like this, and I had to pay a lot of dues before I could afford it.

    I've resolved to care for it properly and dedicate myself to using the best products possible for it. No surprise I've done my research and ended up on Meguiar's.

    I'm looking forward to learning a great deal.

          Best thing you can do is to only use the best quality products you can find on the paint to do your best to minimize swirls as they will show up so easily on black paint.

          Soft wiping cloths, quality wash mitts, quality soap, quality wax applicator pads etc.

          If you keep everything that touches the paint as soft and gentle as possible that will go a long way to keeping a show room finish on your new baby...

              I too know what it's like to finally acquire a car that makes one's heart jump. I got mine two years ago. Unfortunately, I did not have a garage and so was unable to provide optimal care and detailing; but I have now moved to a new house with a garage, and like you I am determined to maintain my car in as good condition as I can, given my limitations and circumstances. I am finding MOL to be exceptionally helpful. I know you will, too.
