Helllo. I've a 2008 Siverado, Black Cherry metallic. My preference for car care products has always been Blue Coral products. Well, luck would have it - it's very difficult to find in my area and search engines on the net keep leading to Meguiar's. I will try Meguair's and see if it will leave me as happy as Blue Coral did in the past. I'm looking forward to reading all tips.

Re: James Phelps
Welcome to Meguiars Online!! I do not want to speak for everyone, but I know that I do not use all Meguiars Products, but if I were to choose a few, Smooth Surface Clay Kit, NXT 2.0 Tech Wax, Ultimate Quik Detailer. These products are amazing and will blow your mind. I would wash your truck, then clay, then polish and the wax. That is the Meguiars 5 Step Method.
1- Wash
2- Prep/Clean (Clay)
3- Polish
4- Wax
5- MaintainJoel

Re: James Phelps
Welcome to MOL. You should have no trouble in making the transition from Blue Coral to Meguiar's. I used BC in the past and thought it was a good product, but to me was difficult to remove. Meg's is easy to use and in my opinion does a much better job, and if you have questions on anything, there is someone on this forum that will help answer them for you.You repair things with tools. Meguiar's makes premium quality products and we would put any of our products up against Blue Coral products any day of the week. The first and best thing to do is to
Evaluate the condition of your car's paint and then use the results of your evaluation to guide to you the right products to reach your car care goals, whether that's removing swirls or maintaining leather seats.
As you move forward post any product or how-to questions to a forum like Detailing 101 and our forum membership will do their best to answer your questions and direct you to the right products.
