Just bought a 1990 Mercedes 500SL. Now it's got all sorts of smooth white spots, and spots were the wax can be scrapped off with a fingernail. I don't want to have to spend three or four thousand for a new paint job.

As far as the carport leaking, I'd expect that anything is possible, but then I'd also expect that a carport roof shouldn't be leaking.
