Inspired by seeing Clint Eastwood taking care of his 72 Gran Torino this weekend, I need to get started taking care of a near-pristine '98 Lincoln Continental I just bought.
The exterior is white and well waxed, but there's a sizable spot on the trunk top where the shine is gone. Could be oxidation or clear coat might be worn off.
Anyway, when the frigid weather here in Southwest Virginia passes, soon I hope, I need to wax/polish the whole car and the spot in particular.
Any suggestions on procedure/products.
I don't own a electronic buffer and would like to use elbow grease because I have read a bit about possible damage using a machine if you aren't experienced with one.
