  • New From NoVA

    Hi all,

Trying to keep my cars clean in the mid-atlantic region - a very difficult prospect - the weather is NOT cooperative. Not only that, but my community does not allow rinse car washes in the driveway! I rinse wash at a self-wash place and I have a gallon of Optimum No Rinse for when it gets cold or is nasty outside. I find myself using ONR more and more relative to rinse washing...just more convenient.

We have two Infiniti brand cars. They are good cars but there are a few minor flaws - the most relevant one being the paint. It is weak paint and chips easily. The clearcoat is soft and easily swirled . I didn't realize this on my first car so it has a lot of stone chips, which I just try to avoid thinking about. Anyway, I got a 3M VentureShield installed on my wife's car and I feel great not having to worry about that car.

I have been using Meguiars products for a while. They are pretty solid!

My current favorites are: UQD, UQW, NXT 2.0 Wax, NXT Glass Cleaner, SwirlX, DC2, Supreme Shine MF, Gold Class Wash

    Matt
