i did almost all the body work filler work and sanding priming and prepping. the reason i say almost all was because i had to be taught on my own car. so i had to be shown a thing or 2

i did not spray the car personally but i was the one who masked it prepped it cleaned it and all that jazz and i was there for every step of the way.

i put it back together and had some help from the painter with that, help with engine rebuild and install, help with body kit install, i think the only time i handed over my car for some one to work on was when i got my front mount intercooler piping welded custom for my car, and any exhaust modifications, on and the bushing kit replacement, no way i could do all that heavy torquing =X

Looks pretty cool! Looks like you turned a GL shell into a TII with a TII donor car! The best thing with that setup is that you are not stuck with the power windows!

I had a Turbo II myself as well many many years ago. Great car, after 99% of the factory fat was removed and all the necessary gears installed (coilovers, metal bushings, FMIC, catback, piggyback management, etc, etc).

actually its not a gxl shell, gxl shells have power windows and all the goodies offerd in the NA trim. there is no GL rx7 that i am aware of, there are se gxl gtu gtus tii .

i started with an se shell. hence the 4 lugh wheels and the 5 lug swap. se have the smallest sway bars and all the bottom of the line stuff offerd. some didnt even come with sun roof, those are great to use as track cars!

You are right, GL is only available in Canada.

I think I still have an RX-7 shell and a couple of motors, transmissions, differential pieces in my warehouse. No idea if I still have it lol... It's probably a rolling chassis I bought five to seven years ago for tubing. How much are these cars worth these days?

                        Excuse the spare wheels

a shell as low as 300 for complete shell or a great condition shell for 800-1000 with intact wire harnesses and good interior.just depends on the current condition of the car and how much of a rotor head the buyer is!
