  • Hi from the OC

    Hey guys,

Just currently a computer science student at UC Irvine so I live fairly close to the Meguiar's HQ. Been using crappy Turtle Wax products (sorry to admit it ) but saw the light and switching to Meguiar's. Looking to buy a new car soon but before I do that, I figured I should learn how to pamper my old one and try to keep it in good, clean shape with the proper wash and wax techniques. Hopefully I can learn some tips and tricks from everyone here.

    Hello and welcome to mol.

Since you live so close to Meguiar's. I would definitely make plans to attend a Thursday night open garage. It would speed up your learning curve tremendously.

        Welcome!

In addition to the Thursday Night Open Garage - you should Detailing 101 class that's held on Saturdays.

Detailing 101 covers the basics (what your looking for) while Thursday nighters are more oriented to putting what you've learned to "practice".
