Re: New to this forum but not to trying to keep swirls out of my black vehicles.
If there's an art, I have yet to learn it!
The single most important thing to learn is how to wash your vehicle properly. The two-bucket method with grit guards is a minimal necessity, but you may discover that more is needed. I wish I could afford a high pressure washer, foam lance, and de-ionizer. Sigh.
Always use high quality microfiber towels and wash mitts.
Touch your vehicle between washes as infrequently as possible!
Black is a vocation.
Adopt the 3-foot rule: if the car looks great when you're standing three feet away, be happy!Swirls hide in the black molecular depths, only waiting for the right time to emerge and destroy your sanity.

Welcome to MOL!
Now who was it here that said "black isn't a color, it's a full time job!"? Not far from the truth, is it?Michael Stoops
