  • Noob needs some learning

    Greetings Waxy-blog-o-sphere!

My name's Elliot and I am brand new to the car care products world (outside of just a coat of Turtle Wax). Just picked up a Porter Cable Dual Action Polisher, a set of every foam pad color and am now looking for advice and feedback on polishes, in particular which polishes to go with which pads.

I've got a cadillac CTS-V that is my baby and will be receiving the many hours of spit polishing, my plan is to learn the ways of the guru's on here then make a little side dough doing some polish jobs for friends for more practice.

Any tips or feedback to point me in the right direction on where to start with polishes would be much appreciated!

    Welcome!

What sort of condition is your paint currently in? Are you trying to remove swirls/scratches/other defects? Any pics?

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

CTS-V, huh? What a beast of a car!
