Hello fellow Meguiarians!
My name is Spencer and I'm from California. I have been driving a BLACK 2009 Volkswagen Jetta SE for around six months now and couldn't be happier. I tell my friends I drive a ‘Jet’ because when I got it, the ‘A’ was missing so I took of the extra ‘T’ to make it official. (In my head, I also feel this adds some much needed masculinity to this particular model.)
I primarily use the following Meguiar’s products:
-Cleaner Wax – Liquid
-Gold Class Carnauba Plus Paste Wax
-Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo and Conditioner
About two months ago I was giving it its weekly cleaning (those of you who own a black car, you know how much effort it takes to keep it looking sharp), but when I went to dry it, I immediately noticed swirl marks all over its perfect, almost mirror-like black coat of paint. I looked into my wash bucket to find my rim-washing sponge—which is just an ordinary kitchen sponge—and instantly realized my inexcusable, extreme stupidity: the rough side of the sponge. Now that I’ve honestly confessed my heinous crime, I am looking to do everything I can to make it right. (Please check out my post in Detailing 101 if you can provide any advice/insight!)
Thanks for welcoming me into the Meguiar's Online community!

These are some photos I took on our first real drive (second day I owned it).
