I was reading a thread that Mike Phillips posted about his wife Lynn, using the NXT Glass Cleaner for another use. Lynn was using the glass cleaner for the tile counters in the kitchen. It got me thinking about other uses of my Meguiar's products that I have been purchasing over the past couple of months since I have become a member of this forum.
In the past couple of weeks I have detailed my truck. I didn't take any before pics (darn) because I didn't think I would post anything. I am basically just trying to learn everything I can. So I washed, clayed, #80eed and Tech waxed my truck.
After I finished the truck I was so happy with it I started on my wifes car. Same senerio. Wash, clayed, #80eed and Tech waxed.
After I ran out of cars to do, that's when Mike's thread got me to thinking and I looked down at my tennis shoes and I said why not try some of Meguiar's products on the old shoes. So I started with the Vinyl Rubber Protectant and a tooth brush and worked at the rubber side soles on one shoe. After I got them cleaned I used my One Step Leather Care and a 100% terry cloth towel for the leather part of the shoe and lo and behold!!! Check out the difference.
Here's the finished products on the hood of my truck.
