I know Meguiars usually recommends a second coat on many of their LSP products to ensure even coverage. Would the same apply for PP365 after an initial 24 hour cure or would there be no point in doing so with this particular product?

Yes, the same would apply for Paint Protect, a second coat, ideally after the first is fully cured, would ensure even coverage.

I only went with one coat. But I typically only apply one coat. My application technique is a little different with PP365. I applied it as if it were a coating. I posted a video a couple pages back. I was able to get better coverage doing it this way.
Does anyone know if 365 will temporarily prevent tree sap from damaging your clear coat?
All of Meguiar's Waxes & Sealants, including Paint Protect will provide a sacrificially barrier against elements of the environment. When it comes to harsh elements like tree sap or water spots, it is always going to be best to remove these ASAP.

Hello guys. I have a question and hopefully a Meguiars team will answer. Maybe it's been brought up before but there's a LOT of pages in this section. I've been using Meguiar's as long as I can remember and when I read about the Paint Protect , I thought I'd give it a try. I've put on about 3 coats so far each after 2 days of curing. Great stuff.
My question is, I tend to over detail my car. Will polish or glaze remove Paint Protect ? I would think so but I thought I'd ask. Does one need to reapply Paint Protect after each time it is polished ??

1 coat is all that is really needed. 2 coats is recommended by Meguiar's to ensure even coverage. You will not gain any extra protection by adding more coats.
A glaze will not remove paint protect. So something like M7 will not. An abrasive polish or cleaner wax will remove it and you will have to reapply.
