Is Mirror Glaze 105 sold only online

Hello everybody

I was wondering Does anyone know were I can physically get M105 and M205 at a retail store in the Chicago area, or are these products only sold online? I've been to Autozone, PepBoy's, Auto Advance, The one that comes close to haveing the Professional line is O'Reilly Auto Parts but they don't go up to m105 & m205

Well, online can be easiest sometimes. Most of the Pro and Detailer Line products are not sold in the regular box stores. You need to look for a PBE store in your area.

You can use the Meguiars product locator, and search for the Pro Line products. But call before you go, the list can be a bit out of date.

Retailers balk at carrying most of the Professional line products due to consumer unfamiliarity with the professional line and their relatively high price. While you may be able to buy a 32 oz bottle of M205 online for $32, most retailers would have to ask for full MSRP of $37.50 off the shelf.

And the professional products just don't sell well at Autozone, Pep Boys, WalMart, etc. The average consumer wants very basic products that have simple directions for use on the label. Most consumers won't be using machine polishers to apply their polishes. I have seen a lonely gallon of M85 sitting on the shelf at my local CarQuest for over a year. I won't buy it because I don't need a gallon of M85 and the price is way too high anyway, especially since I could get it for 25% less online.

ahh i see. yeah i just finished calling one of the retailers to see if they have it on shelf. they said they can order it.........................well I can do that myself.
but i understand know i gues the normal consumer just dosn't do the research anymore on what's, what.

Well, usually dont have to pay shipping if the store orders it for you.

But you do have to pay sales tax (unless you live in Texas or another state that doesn't impose sales tax), which you can avoid if you order from out of state. Sometimes local sales tax can be as much as shipping.

I was actually able to buy a 32oz of M205 at my local Paint Body and Equipment (PBE) store for considerably less than I found it for online at ADS and other sites, at the time. Most times I can do better on price by ordering online, but every once in a while I get a good deal on a product at the local PBE store. It's worth the call to check sometimes. Good luck.

Madison street is essentially ½ mile east of Rt 83 and Medco is just north of I55.

look for a tarrace auto supply in schaumburg, wheeling and tinly park.

another place is shermin williams automotive finishes. they are all over chicagoland.

wow i was calling all these place to see if they had M105 and M205 explain to them the highest they go is to the M80' it like they never even heard of M105 and M205 it like i threw a monkey rench and the everyday life, you think they would go on-line every once in a while and see what else is out there.....................considering it what they do for a living auto-paint rehibilitation and retoration..... weird you think they would want to have the most up to date products......
