Last year when I bought my first DA, a G110 it took me a while to learn I could actually remove swirls.
My Mercedes hard paint didn't want to clean up. I tried UC and some of the older style products like M80.
Finally I tried M105. I was then able to remove swirls, and I worked on removing new swirls again this winter.
Today I did the roof, trunk, and rear panels. In the sun, almost all the swirls did indeed once again come out. THis is very satisfying on a black car, to see it look flawless again.
I do own M205, but the way M105 seems to be the very bottom end of being able to make action on my car's paint, I don't follow it with anything anymore. I take my time and do more passes with M105 rather than set aside time to follow with M205.
Is this a really bad idea or on some paints is going M105 to your wax ok as it seems to be for me?
