picked up some 301 and cant find my mf pads. was goin to use lc black pad and was curious if anyone else has tried this combo.

I think you may find as far as waxing your combination maybe just fine, just don't expect too much in the way of removing heavy micro-marring. The LC pad is pretty soft and in most of the LC types it is considered a finishing pad. A test spot will show you. Try a couple of different passes, perhaps high buffer speed and moderate pressure, then a little slower and lighter pressure.
