  • Corrado! First spring detail

    Before (Fall of 05)

I did some washing and minor detailing through out the winter (just for protection)

Now that springs here, I got my first chance to really give her a good cleaning. My Meguiars order is being delivered TODAY! So the full "treatment" is on the way....

nice car volkswagen should do a 2006 corrado as their sports car, I know they have the GTI but it´s based on the golf so a lot of people only see it like a sport golf but very nice when you finish the detailing on the car post some pictures.

Thanks for the nice words.. 1994 was the last year for the U.S. They were available in Europe untill 1995. They also made a super cool "Special edition" called the "Storm" Mine was previously owned by a VW tech, So he took care of everything mechanical (and I mean EVERYTHING) He even included pictures of the rebuild.. But oddly enough he said he "had no patience for detailing/cleaning" I was like "you can take an entire engine apart and separate nuts/bolts/tiny engine parts into bags and runaround getting machine work done... but you have no patience to fill up a soapy bucket of water and wash the darn thing???? Oh well, better this way than the opposite!! Now I have a project (since I seem to lack the ability to rebuild engines)
this weekend she's getting a full days worth of detailing goodness! I can't wait!!

Great looking car - I've always loved those and recently started scanning ebay every so often for one. You know, just for kicks.

Wow. You just made me feel really, really old.

            Really.

And I'm not. But you were 5 in '94.

            Yeah, I feel old.

5 in 1994, Yikes, I guess I'm old also.... I was in High school, Oh well, age's just a number I'll post some more pics later this weekend... Also.... FYI Thats how I started "looking for a Corrado" Just grazing through the classifieds, asking general questions, then came more specific questions, then came req's for closer pics, and maint history, then I was 100% searching, sold my MKIV, and have been a Corado Junkie since...
