I know I don't post here very often, but some of you may recall my photo technique post: How-to :: Making Better Car Photos

I just wanted to share some photos from a recent shoot I did.

    Great pic's Dave!
It makes me miss my 03 S until I think of all the bat bags and other softball stuff I will be hauling around all summer.
    Got Faith?

I must have missed where you sold your MCS. You had CR/B right?

Those are an official MINI accessory item available through the dealer parts department.

I'm in Los Angeles. Clear on the other side of the continent from Ontario.

I'll be out at MINIs in the Mountains in August in Colorado, but that is the farthest East I'm planning on reaching this Summer.

I now have a Brilliant Black Magnum R/T. I love the color and the vertical pedal on the right, when stomped can be scary

I love black Magnums....they just look so sophisticated and "diplomatic" (yes that's not the correct use of that word but it reminds me of something a diplomat or someone like that would drive). Yours is awesome looking...

first thing i thought was that it was the CHECKMATE edition. but its not. its just a MINI with CHECKED mirrors.

some people do that. not sure why. if it was a checkmate it'd look sweet, but they black wouldn't match the space blue leather/silver cloth interior and blue dash.

The way MINI does the checkmate package with black (at least here in the states), I think it would be fine. With Astro Black (Jet Black pictured above is no longer available) MINIUSA only lets you select the silver roof with the checkmate package , so that would tie in with the interior.

I detailed this Ford XL today and played around with some different shots.......

Really liked the look of the front end.

It turned really foggy as I was shooting, so that is the "haze" you see.
