  • 2002 Z06.... Detailed!

I only took a couple befores because honestly.. they werent necessary. The car was pretty clean before I started.

Imperfections and being a little dirty are hard to highlight with silver, as I found out, especially when its pretty clean to start. This car had VERY little swirls before.. the customer used good towels when washing and it has always been garaged.

However.. the time I saved on polishing because of barely any swirls was made up easily in clay bar time. This car is used frequently for AutoX and there was embedded rubber all over the car... not to mention the back end had soot dots all over from the modified engine and being driven real hard, those were kind of a pain to get off.

    Process..

    -Wash with GC
-Clay with Pinnacle Poly Clay and QD
    -#80 via G100
    -NXT by G100
-NXT removed by hand and MF
    -Trim dressed with Natural Shine
    -Interior with Natual Shine
    -Leather with GC Rich Leather
    -APC+ for floor mats
    -Engine with Natual Shine
    -Glass with Stoner Glass Cleaner
-Exhaust tips with Flitz Metal Polish

    So heres the afters...

    No Swirlies..

    Engine and Interior..
