  • '96 Alfa Romeo 146TI black

My colleague bought an Alfa 146TI 150bhp last week. Because we're a Toyota/Lexus dealership, we don't deal in other brands so he was able to get it very cheap. The previous owner was an old lady and she wasn't very interested in the condition of her car. Plenty of scratches, swirls, birddroppings and dirt everywhere.
The paintwork was a bit dull and 'grey'. Especially around the logo on the back were you can open the bootlid. When you rotate the logo, your fingernails and rings will scratch the paint.

OK, it's time for #84 on the bad spots with the Blaucraft rotary. #83 DACP (applied first by rotary, then by PC) and #80 applied by PC. Only the toughest swirls remained, a pretty good result I think because it looked like the car was washed with steelwool before

    Rotarybuffers rule. .

I'm so sorry, I was so enthusiast that I forgot to shoot some before pics.

Things I've also used today, NXT techwax, GC Trim Detailer en some Tiregel.

Good job. Thanks for posting the pics. It's nice to see cars we don't have over here in the States.

Alfa is very famous because they breakdown often and every part of the car can fail at any time . The brand is by the way from Italy

I am familiar with Alfa Romeo we just don't have many over here and I haven't seen this particular model. The ones we do see here are the classics.

I believe so, but I am not an Alfa Romeo expert.

Also some GTV6 coupes (I want one, even if they do break) and the old Milano sedan (a friend had one in the early '90s, what a blast to drive!) as well as a few of the 164 Sedan from the late '80s & early '90s. These were some of the last Alfas imported to the US.

Eric, it looks like you did a beautiful job on that 146!

It was an easy job because the paint is relatively soft.

                Thanks guys!
