  • Detailed my grandmas car...

Not what you thought eh(most grannys dont drive maximas haha)? Took me 6 hours for this beast of a car. I took it for a drive as well. Did I mention I have a nasty cold too?

    Before pics:

I spent 20 minutes cleaning these factory clearcoat wheels sheesh..

It wasnt TOO dirty... but theres more than the camera can show especially since its silver..

No i didnt get a chance to detail the engine(i've never done one either) But I think in a week or two im gonna go back with my APC and spray down the head and plastic/hoses and then dress them with a bit of hyperdressing I have that a friend gave me. At least clean it up good for sure.

Used almost a half a roll of tape on this car. Surprisingly there weren't many noticeable swirls as there were little scuffs, scratches, and stuff like that.

    Ok on to after pics:

Crystal Clear My truck even reflects in the shot perfectly!

This car had been rear ended and there was a big scratch and some transfer on the side of this bumper and 99% of it is now invisible.

Sorry for so many pics. Its just been a long week and this is nice and relaxing for me ha.

    Process:

Washed with Gold Class Car Wash
Clayed using last touch detailer as the lubricant(works great smells good too)
#80 all over on PC with 8006 pad at speed 5.(2-3 Passes in several places).
#83 on the bumper on speed 5 with 8006 pad
#21 via PC on speed 3
All Season Dressing on the tires
Lets just say my grandma was quite happy with the results as was I. The pictures dont to justice to how beautiful it looked.. It is also garaged mostly so I dont worry about the #21 not lastin long. Should last at least 3 months..

How nice! We're sure you've warmed her heart by doing this for her. We don't give away the Bow Smilie very often... but details like this deserve it.

Cool dude. I wish my Grandma owns a car. Hehehe. Both my grandma doesn't know how to drive.. Awesome work. Silver is a nice color. It's easier to take care than black. Happy detailing.

Yeah I refused to take more than 25 bucks from her(basically covering the cost of my products and stuff) my work was all free! And yes that one pic is my truck which stickers are stuck all over I did it years ago before I knew about detailing... anyway I cant wait to see how it looks now since the #21 is cured fully. It should be beautiful. I told her I'd come wash it every week and a half or so. Cuz I dont want her to take it to some wash and get it all yucky.
haha and and thanx mike. I am sore all over!
