So this is my first "documented" "show off"
The car is my girlfriends 1997 Daihatsu Cuore.
In the background you can see my next project.. :-)
1 -Used tar remover
2 -Two bucket method with Gold Class and MF Cobra mitt
3 -Dried with chamois and watermagnet
4 -Clayed with Gold Class and water
5 -Rinsed on washed again
6 -Dried with chamois and WM
7 -Applied DC polish with Hi-tech applicator -let sit for 25 mins
8 -Removed with Cobra MF
9 -Applied #21 with Hi-tech applicator, let sit for about 60 mins
10 -Removed with Cobra MF -and VOILA..
This is before I got started
This is too
Using some emulgating spray/tar remover.
First time claying, this is the test..
Some scratches on the hood -No hopes on getting rid of them on this job
After.. -The sun has gone down.. But there were slightly less swirling
After, side
So my girl removes the #21:
While I just look at the shine:
This is the only real problem we could not do anything about.
Seems like overspray from the winshield wiper-fluid has found its way down here and has probably been baked in by the sun. Tried some natural shine, but I guess I need some plastX..?
That is it for this time, I am really exited about seeing how the #21 holds up.
