After a few years of using Autoglym i have to say that the results from Meguiars are excellent every time with everything new i try. Still Shocked though at how rare products are to come by in England.

    First off, Welcome to Meguiars!

All the cars look great. I like the blue color of the first one. The Mini in that last photo is cool.

Look at those cars that went from dirty and sad to shiny and happy. You're a good man!!!

They all look great. I like the shade of blue on the clio. You really made it pop. Way to go.

I like the gloss on the clio, it's nice.

I have a question about your usual process:
                Outside

                Rinse the car down then,

                4. DC1

...I'm just wondering why you don't use a polish like DC2 after you cleaned it with DC1. Have you tried using a polish and would the results be any different with it?

Re: clio + 7hrs of work

I have not tried the Dc2 + 3 as yet alot of people on the megs uk website swear by it and the results always look great. i suppose the only reason for the Gold Class polish and Wax is a combination DC2 + 3 after a very long process.

I have just done a friends black vauxhall corsa with the same process as mine and it looks fantastic i will try and get some pictures of that by next week.

Any way hope ths answers the question.

                  Thanx Christian

Re: clio + 7hrs of work

Sorry have had a busy Xmas and not replied to this post the little figure on the dash was Plankton From Spongebob Square Pants who is in the back window coincidentally (got it from McDonald's). I maybe 21 but its one of the best cartoons i have ever seen. Fortunately he has had to make way for my Road Angel nowadays but its rattling round the car some where. the Clio has cubby holes all over the place. And ADIO is a brand of skate shoes but its not well know here in the UK, so most people go what is that, and its not ever really pronounced how its spelt either (audio).

My Sisters Micra has some parrot in the back window of it, not sure what thats all about.

Never tried DC2 or the three stages, at the time i was working by hand and there was lots of effort required as scratch X is particullaly hard work to do all over a car and being my own i was trying to achieve the best possible finish, since then i have moved on to the PC and finding it really easy to use and has achieved good work on everything Ive used it on. lucky haven't had to do any VAG cars yet. but am now interested in learning about rotary but am aware that plenty of practice is required and will need a banger or test panel to start with.

                      Thanx Christian

It is cool Thanks. It would be a better way to keep heat in when going in and out of the garage (i run the electric heater when doing stuff like using the PC for a couple of hours). Its a shame its usually cover with gardening junk so theres a chance of being struck by something also my dads a plumber so the garage never ever looks this tidy (see pics) and the mini gets surrounded by stuff, it lives on that side and we don't use it as my older sister got the car and hasn't had a single driving lesson so it been there since she was 17 some 7 years now.

as a citizen of the USA, I have never seen one in person! I suspect they are rare in your neck of the woods, but even if it weren't, thats a hot car!
