I had posted a thread last night asking if anyone had any tips on how to detail and 02 mustang gt. I got a lot of great responses and they all came in handy today. It turned out to be an 03 mustang gt and upon first inspection it didnt look too bad but would prove to be a little tougher. The owner purchased it from carmax in the winter and they did a number on it with putting in some nice swirls along with chips in the paint if it wasnt done by the previous owner. I started around 10 am and finished at 3 pm it was cold in the morning but warmed up to a beautiful day later on. Overall it was a great car to work on I used the rotary only on the hood and some select stubborn panels. I got it about 90% swirl free. Heres the proces and pictures...
