  • Alfa Romeo GT (56k, no way)

Last weekend my detailingbuddy Dibbuz and myself detailed an Alfa Romeo GT. This isn't a 100% Meg's detailjob, we used some other brands also

The finish had some problems: a lot of swirls, some paintchips and scratches.

    Things we did:

Tyres cleaned with Super Degreaser and Meg's Tyre Brush,
Rims with Wheelbrightner, EZ-Brush and washmitt,
Wash the car with Shampoo Plus, washmitt 2-buckets,
    dried with Miracle Dryer,
Meg's blue Clay Last Touch 1:1,
Wetsanded filled scratches and paintchips with 2000 gritt sandingblock followed by yellow So1o woolpad and So1o Cream. Did the hood and roof with the same combo
Finished the whole car with Menzerna Nano Polish en Meg's/Lake Country Black Finishing pad,
    Used Poorboy's World Black Hole.
Sealed with Meg's NXT 2.0 paste,
    Topped with Poorboys Natty's Blue,
Trim and rubber with Poorboys Trim Restorer,
Did engine bay with All Season Dressing
Windows: Meg's NXT Glass Cleaner, Even Coat Applicator and Terry Towel,
Exhaust: NXT All metal polish and Morthers Mini-powerball,
    Vacuumed interior
Leather seats and trim with Poorboys Leathertuff,
Plastic interior bits with Poorboys Natural look,
    Tires: Endurance gel,
And some other things we forgot to mention.

    Picturetime!

Wow! The paint had a lot of swirls in it but not anymore. Amazing transformation. Sweet looking car too. What did you use to get those swirls out?

We used the yellow so1o woolpad and the so1o cream on the hood and roof, finished the whole car with Menzerna Nano Polish on a so1o black finishing pad and rotary. The whole car was done with a rotary.

The owner is an accountant with little time, the car gets washed in an automated carwash, he always thought that it was scratch free His brother was so impressed that we're gonna do his wifes black BMW X3 in a few weeks time and maybe in the future his new white BMW M3, which is delivered in a few months

That is a impressive transformation. The car went from neglected and abused, to a thing of beauty. Great work. The car looks better then new.
