    Hey everyone.

    Here are a couple of shots from a 'test' session from last weekend. The car is in absolutely abysmal condition and looks like it's been scrubbed all over with steel wool! The purpose of the exercise was to see whether the G220 would even start to hit the defects, or whether I would need to 'graduate' to a rotary polisher.

    To my delight, a single (good) hit with M80 on a W8006 pad gave the following result! The paint must be incredibly soft!



    Quite amazed with that

    ...of more interest was what was lying underneath a plastic stone guard/shield that was glued to the leading edge of the bonnet. It was installed by the dealer when the car was brand new, and after 30min with a heat gun and glue remover, what did I find?



    ...a nice collection of dealer-installed swirls and holograms.
    (corrected section on left, untouched section up top, with the section that had been covered since new underneath it)

    I finished off the panel after taking these shots, now to schedule another day to tackle the entire car.
