Took on a buddy's farm truck. (What possessed him to buy a used black truck for a farm truck I'll never know). Dropped it off and said "It's yours till you're done. It didn't come out showroom new of course but I was very pleased with the results.

In rough/tough farmer fashion he remarked uppon seeing it with "Yup, don't think I could have washed it that clean"

    Exterior was
    Simple green where needed
    Hyperdressing on plastics and engine
    Washed with Gold Class
    Clayed

Interior was a good cleaning with warm water and dressed with #40

Hood AFTER wash and clay believe it or not!

Test section figguring out what approach to take.

WOW. What an improvement. Congratulations. I have a question did you use PlastX on the headlights? I was wondering because I also have a Ford Truck and was wondering if that's what the headlights look like or if they need PlastX.

plastx does work well on those lights. I didn't on this one but I have used it on f150s before with nice results.

      A few more pics.

Great job on that Ford, black truck indeed for a farm truck????

Long as he has you to maintain it and pays you well, what the heck.

maybe wouldve been a good candidate for using 151.....

very big improvement... cant imagine how a clear coat finish could oxidize that much without being clear coat failure.... maybe you can offer him discounted details sometimes to experiment with new products and techniques....

Incredible end result. On the "after" pictures it looks as if it was a new car. How long did this "resurrection" take you??

That's actually an amazing transformation considering what you had to work with... good job!

Wow, this was like deja vu of my January detail of my Dad's dark green farm truck. I know first hand how tough that job is, how gratifying the results are and how bad it will look if they drive it off road again All farm trucks should be dirt brown!

grear work on the truck, that was some oxidisation on that bonnet
