  • 2007 Dodge Nitro - Detail And Picture Post Test

Here is my 2007 Dodge Nitro after a fresh all day detail done entirely by hand no buffers here. This is also my first attempt at putting some pictures here.

Some of the photos were taken right after it was completed in full sun, others taken a few minutes later as it got cloudy. That is why there is a difference of the shine you can see. I got it into the garage before it started to rain.

How to upload and insert an image into your posts

Try giving that a read through.

Excellent work. The nitro looks great. That is a lot of work by hand. You deserve a break. Way to go. Enjoy.

After your arm stops hurting , type your process. The Nitro looks great, very nicely done

Never saw a Nitro before. I like the design on it and.. good job on the Nitro.

                  Thanks for the share.

Woo Hoo first time thanks lilblkblt04 for the link and posting my photos. I was trying to make an old thread work for this new format and I thought I had it. But I guess not.

No fancy process here. As being there are NO swirls it was simple. Wash (GC), Clay, NXT 2.0, and done. Endurance Tire Shine High Gloss, other brand glass cleaner (sorry), and other brand protectant on exterior plastic (sorry again).

The key is not introducing swirls into it. I looked at two identical Nitros and picked the one with no swirls. Luckily it was August, sun in the air so they were easy to spot. As long as you don't introduce them you don't have to worry. I use the two bucket wash system, lambswool mitt, and only microfiber towels. Too bad I didn't know in my young and dumb days on my truck. It is swirled like crazy from bath towels and cheap sponges. But it was clean...

Thanks for the compliments. The Nitro is one of those hate it or like cars. It fit our needs and gets fair mileage. Anywhere from 20-28 (once). I have heard it called mean looking, retro, to H3 look - a - like.

I think it looks kind of cool!... I wish they would spend a little more time on the front end though..... more outstanding headlights would be better.... the current headlights just look like something from old 90s parts bin...
