Amazing job! I had to keep going back and forth between the before and after pics because I couldn't believe it was the same car.

looks amazing. you can be a nice uncle if you want and detail mine its only single stage red anyway haha.

i have done "charity" jobs for family members before, the only problem is, once they know you will do it free, they will just keep leading you on until you mention money. 1/2 of the cars i have done for family are ONLY washed whenever I make the effort to wash them. good luck on the follow up

Great job, Mike! I have basically stopped doing some of my relatives cars because they end up looking just as bad as they did before I busted my butt on them. I hope she appreciates the work you did and tries to keep it looking good.

Very nice job, Uncle Stoops. It's a pity the result won't last long ... not that I want to be pesimistic.

                    Re: Being a good uncle

It really makes me mad when people think their car is a chair, a leaning post, a table, a cabinet etc. I guess all of us detailers really take pride in our work and think of automobiles as not just a utilitarian thing, but as our pride and joy.

Seeing hubcaps so dirty you almost have to replace them, and deck-lids so scratched it almost looks hopeless to try and buff really gets under my skin.

I'm really glad to see you took the time to clean that car up because I'd have been so angry with the person I wouldn't have done it.

You are a stand up guy, and you do excellent work!

Looks like a completely different car! I'm sure she's very happy. How did all those scratches get on the trunk lid? It looks like she scrubbed it with a Brillo pad! You did a great job making it look like new!

97 Supra, I'm with you 100%. And I had no clue how bad the car really was until after I'd washed it. Uh....... surprise!!!!

CieraSL, my niece is a rep for Kenneth Cole Fashion Eyewear and carries large sample cases in her trunk. Unfortunately, her trunk lid often becomes a table for these cases. I have told her in no uncertain terms to cease and desist this activity!

Dave, I'm a nice enough uncle to detail her car, but not quite nice enough to buy her a new car.

Everyone else, thanks again for all the kind words.
