Make: Nissan / Model: Murano / Year: 2006 / Detail: Full Detail
I was called to do this Nissan Murano, I previously had worked on another vehicle of the owner so he wanted me to do a complete detail, inside and out.
From inspection, you could notice that the car was dirty and it had lots of contaminants bonded to the paint, not only because you can feel the roughness but also it had LOTS of "black spots" that some were just contaminants others were tar and so on. The entire surface was covered with it. Every section I clayed, the clay came out almost brown.
Normal swirls and some RIDS on the paint. Also you could see that the paint had no clarity at all. Just because it had never been detailed before you couldn't notice any reflection at all.
The interior was in a bad shape. The leather, rubber, plastic, vinyl were covered with some sort of a product that you could notice the places it was applied and other batches that were left out. The leather was dirty and sticky. Door panels were aweful. So I had to deeply clean all the surfaces and protect using various products also returning the softness back to the leather
Headlights had swirling, also they needed to be polished to remove the scratches and to return the clarity
Wheel and wheel wells were in a not too bad shape, nothing special or out of the ordinary.
The exhaust tips had to be polished since they have water spots, stains and so on.
