  • PlastX before & after, saves the day again.

You guys know PlastX is one of my favorite products. Well I have been working on a 95 Dodge Neon which I'm trying to bring back to road ready status to save gas with. Here's a couple before and after shots of the 14 year old oxidized headlights. (I didn't sand this time, simply put PlastX on a $20.00 orbital and let the product do all the work 5 mins total per lens.)

    Before:

    After:

I'm telling you all again, as I've said before this is the best investment you can make into your automobile. Clear those crappy headlights, gain resale value, gain curb appeal, and most important gain night vision which is crucial to not only your safety but the motorists on the road with you as well.

Thanks again for a great product, this bottle is my pride and joy. As for the clearcoat failure on the bumper.. well that's another story.

The before and after are spectacular. I thought I was looking at brand new lights on the after shots.

Like new again. Good save. What kind of orbital and bonnet did you use?

I bought a couple cheap Ryobi 6" "buffers" which are really just underpowered orbital buffers that are great for small jobs like this. The tie on pad I used was just something in a pack of 2 items that I found at the home depot. The material is the same as a 100% cotton terry applicator pad.

Great job on that Neon, seen a lot with icky headlights and I hit mine a lot during the year to keep them clean ('05 Neon SXT).

If memory serves, didn't you do the headlights on a car before? A Supra perhaps?

Yeah, I did my Supra with PlastX also, but those headlights I actually wet-sanded and then hit with the PlastX.

Thanks for the kind words everyone, this product really sells itself once you see what it can do!

I am always amazed what that stuff can do, no matter how expensive/nice the car is.

My stock money is going into PlastX, because once everyone realizes how great this stuff is, theres going to be none left.

                        Great job

It is really fantastic stuff, it works better than you would expect it too.

Great work on the headlights. The after looks like a new light. Great job.

PlastX works great. Got a few samples from the Meguiars detailing class yesterday and used it on my mom's 98 Civic. Headlights came out looking almost new!
