  • Just some experimenting

It was a beautiful day today and I decided to polish my car. I first experimented with 205 and PRE DA 105. Did a 50/50 on my hood and the pics will show the results

    Some 105 results

I dont know what happend with the 105 on the left side... any ideas?

Either way I had better results with 205 than 105 when using a DA

    now some 205

Rock chips are a nightmare for cars... no easy fix either. If you have a black car then a quickie fix it to dab on some ink from a permanent marker.

M105 is a very aggressive product and may not finish out as well as M205 on some paint systems. What pad were you using to apply both products?

Nice work, great photography showing before and after...

I just cant explain the maring from the 105, I can only assume it was the pad because I used it exactly like the 205. Just different results.

It does look process related, not product related? Kind of a basic question but was the pad clean when you used it? Was it used with something else previously that might still have been on the pad?

Nope, both were fresh pads, I used two pads one for each side and for each product, both were preped the same and what not. They were sonus pads however. But even then, wouldn't I have had the same problem with the 205?
