  • Mercedes Benz Detail

    Exterior/Trim
    Wash with Deep Crystal
    Megs SS Clay kit
    Worked with M80 & M83 applied by G110
    NXT 2.0 for LSP
GC Vinyl/Rubber Protectant - Good stuff
    Hot Rims for the wheels
    Hot Shine for the tires
    Megs glass cleaner

    Interior
    GC Foam Dash and Trim
    GC leather wipes
GC Vinyl/Rubber Protectant - Good stuff
    Rigid vac

This Benz was "clean" aesthetically, not well maintained as far as the paint is concerned. It had been run through automatic car washes and washed with harsh brushes.

I have both GC Vinyl/Rubber Protectant and GC Trim Detailer. I found that the protectant worked better for this job. The owner preferred a high gloss for the dash and door trim, so I used GC foam.

    Well here we go:

No shine on this bad boy, for now.

Wash and wax shows little to no evidence of wax protection.

    Swirling and scratches:

50/50 of trunk after one pass with M80

    50/50 of hood after a pass with M80 & M83

    A few afters......

Thanks for checking these out, sorry, no interior shots this time.

I tried following the instructions on posting images and resizing - apparently I missed something. I'll do better next time.
