  • AJ Auto Detail: Trashed Mustang

This car had to have been in the worst condition out of all the car's I have worked on ever since I started detailing. Oxidation, water spots, scratches, scuffs, rock chips, bug etchings, ect. It was BAD! The owner wanted oxidation removal plus rock chips and scratches touched up. Owner told me to not bother with the interior, but I vac'd/wipedown it anyways. Didn't take too many pics since I was in a HUGE time crunch.

    Process:
    Wash w/ CG CWG
    Clay w/ Pinn UP
    Compound w/ Meg's M105
    Polish w/ Menz 106ff
    LSP w/ Pinn XMT Glaze

What machine did you use with both M105 and 106ff and did you wipe down the surfaces with IPA or something similar? I'm asking as I've never seen 106ff perfectly 'clean up' after M105, unless M105 was used with very very light pressure and the opposite for 106ff... just make sure you're letting go of the car in a truly perfect condition.

          Looks good nonetheless good job

I washed the car with a strong mix of CWG to remove the oils from the M105 and 106ff.

I used M105 with rotary and PFW and then 106ff with rotary and White LC Pad. Ford CC is pretty medium/soft so there were not micromarring or buffer trails after the 106ff.
