Here’s one of our shop trucks. I had to drive it home last night because my truck was getting worked on. Grama had the kids so I figured I would clean it up. This thing was trashed and I know it has not been waxed since we bought it and only washed when I yell at the guys loud enough. I was able to remove a lot of the scratches and marks that our trucks are just magnets for, but I was not able to remove them all.

    My Process.

    Purple Power
    M105 on LC Yellow Pad
Meg’s 21 Synthetic Sealant on LC White Pad
    303 Protectant
    Invisible Glass
    Meg’s Hot Shine

I went with a sealant only and no wax because I was more worried about durability than shine.

It was or mechanics idea. I had suggested tatooing it to the four head, but evidently their is some kind of laws against that. It wouldn't make a difference they still won't get it done on time. I had one guy go 10K miles without and oil change. When I jumped him about it, he said " I was wondering about that, I thought I should ask someone what I needed to do." My response was "You Think!!!"

                After trying several different things:

                Noxon Metal Polish
                Aluminum Polish
                Wadding Cloth

I ended up using (Big Rum Rollllllllllllll) ........................M105

Did the guys at the shop wonder what you had done with the shop truck?

Seriously, that's some nice work. I'm planning on dressing up our shop truck later this summer for experience.

The mileage thing kind of confuses me, though. It would appear it's written in permanent marker so what do you do after the next oil change?

It's written with dry erase, no if you were to wash you truck with any kind of frequency it would come of, but no worries here. Plus Permanent marker comes of paint pretty easy anyways, paint isn't porous enough. M105 on a rag will take it off in a jiffy.
