  • 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe

So I decided to do an exterior detail on my Mother's car for her, considering it is Mother's Day weekend. Here was the Process:

Wash with Gold Class (2 buckets/grit guards)
    Wheels: D-Line Wheel Brightener
    Tires: APC+
    Wheel Wells: APC+
Mild Blue Clay with Quik Detailer for lube
M80 on yellow polishing pad via G110 speed 5
M07 on finishing pad speed 3
M21 on finishing pad speed 3
Trim Dressed with Gold Class Trim Detailer
Tires Dressed with Hot Shine Gel
Wheel Wells dressed with Hyper Dressing
Windows cleaned with D-Line Glass Cleaner
Quik Wheel Detailer to take care of any water spot on wheels

    Engine:
    Sprayed with APC+
    Agitated with brush
    Misted off with water
    Dressed with Hyper Dressing

    Before:

    The Clay was somewhat dirty:

The 50 50 line was hard to pickup on this car, but the Brinkman light is after M80 and the camera flash is before:

    After:

The sun wasn't out so I had to use the Brinkman

    Thanks for looking!

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.

awesome work!! Great use of the products you had. How much time did you have in it? I did my moms 08 HHR, she was SOOOO amazed with how it looked when I got it done, was very much surprised at all the little nooks and crannies I got dirt OUT of.
        Fergy-

You're only as good as your last detail

Thanks, I only got a chance to do the exterior. It ran me probably about 5-6 hours
