    Re: Black Shelby GT500

Again, an outstanding job with 105/205 and the DA . It gives me hope! Mind sharing how many passes were used with each polish, and what type/color/size/brand pads? I'm currently somewhat unsatisfied with my godzilla 7'' pads that game with my G110 kit and am looking to upgrade to some that are more effective .

As usual, an excellent job. The Black Shelby GT500 looks awesome. I am improving my technique, but I will never catch up to you. I don't have enough years left in me.

Nick it looks great! And you really are an inspiration to lots of us here. Honestly the few times ive hung out with you I take notes of the things you use and how you use them, because I know that must be the right way and so far Ive had great success. Im really hoping school will slow down a bit and I can try and come down some more because I really learn so much every time! Also, you are so modest man! You do awesome work!

P.S. What kind of proccess do you use on the red stripes? Were they vinyl overlays?

It's just M105 and M205 on a DA. I'm not doing anything spectacular. You and anyone else out there can get the same results.

                      Thanks for the compliments!

Fabulous work as always. How many applications of M105 were required to remove the defects? What pad and pad size did you use?

                        Great job

Nick, meant to ask you before but I saw that you said you used the Blackfire wet diamond and then topped with the blackfire wax, is that correct? How long did you let them cure before applying the other on top?

I always like applying two layers of whatever wax I am using but on the few cars I have done for people I only have the time for one layer. On mine and my parents cars I always wait overnight. Just confused on that part

sweet detail! flex or pc? what pads did you use?

also from the pics of the swirls on the shelby, they don't look to bad. What do you think it would have done with 205 on a orange cutting pad, then followed by a polishing pad.
Just curious becuse I have the combo on the way.

That Beast looks FANTASTIC, the reflections are stunnig. What Blackfire product did you use? Nick what pads do you use with the DA? I use 4" pads bc that was all I could really get to work with other polishes. But now with 105/205 I think I will have to invest (once I start my new job) into some bigger pads, lookin into Meg pads and LC 6.5" Flat pads.

Great job NIck as always. Awesome car too. Was this with the G110? Flex? (same question as Cheapthrills) I was wondering the same thing.
