I could bolt in a big-block but I like keeping it all original. I have a nice 305 V8 in there that moves as fast as I need to go. Once you get her up to speed she can maintain it.

very, very nice cutlass! That car had to have been senior owned... That or detailer owned. I wish my 92 Caprice was in that kind of shape.
Off topic: are the window sweeps still intact?

Thank you very much, yes it was. 73k highway on it too.

?? As in the gutter-type things on the tops of the side windows?

no. they're the things at the bottom o the window. The real question; is all the window rubber intact? I would be shocked if they are.

A bit dried out, I intend to get the replaced as soon as the funds are available. I plan on getting into detailing as a side business during school and on my days off this summer. The only problem is the fact that I need $600+ worth of supplies and some customers.

Granted a fair number of the posts are my own responses; but I am shocked to see that my car warranted a 5 page thread. Thanks for the interest in my work-in-progress.

Thank you very much. Luckily it came in pretty nice condition, I just try my best to keep it that way. If anyone has/can find the emblem for my horn PM me please. It's been killing me that no matter where I look I can't find one.

Thank you very much, I will be making a thread in "Detailing for Dollars" very soon regarding pricing and advertising. Feel free to pop in if you've got ideas.

Haha welcome to the 'almost classic' car world. I feel your pain. I boubt there are ANY company that makes repro parts for your car. Hang in there, hopefully there will be something in a few years.
But being an interior part there is sure to be a usable one out there

26 years old makes it classic, mine is 30.

I don't want reproduction parts anyway, this car is staying all original. I was hoping, but I have yet to find one. Mine has a special wheel package that came with the Calais package, but not the normal Cutlass Supreme package (it was an option). I have the original brochure that I could scan if you'd like to see what I mean.
