  • The power of Meg's APC+, VW Engine Detail

The car is a 2002 VW Jetta owned by my sister, and The engine bay NEVER BEEN CLEANED since ownership lol. Some might wonder why I didn't clean it before. Well I didn't have the knowledge I do now of detailing. However, let's just let the pictures do the talking. (Also, excuse the window trim. I didn't detail the whole car, just the engine bay)

    Process was quite simple really:

    1. Taped up wires or any electrical sensors.
    2. Covered up alternator with aluminum foil
    3. Went to town with Meg's APC+: 4:1 dilution
    4. Used a small detailing brush to get into smaller areas
    5. Agitate with a bigger brush
    6. Sprayed APC+ again
    7. Lightly Rinse with hose
    8. Blow dry with Electric Leaf Blower
    9. Applied Hyper Dressing with microfiber

Detailers clean places nobody see. Detailer see's things nobody else see. But if you ask a Detailer to see how a dress looks on a woman, they are blind.

Nice Work! It looks like new!

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

      I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
      Remove swirls my friends.

Thank you everyone. I couldn't have done it without APC. I've used degreasers in the past that would actually stain the plastic and be too harsh. But whatever Meguiar's did with APC, they did an amazing job of how well it can clean plastic as well as metal. And of course hyper dressing is probably the most versatile dressing I've used.
