  • Snake charmer

Here is a 96 cobra I just finished up for a car show this weekend. I have done it before but it was all by hand and was just a basic wash and wax. The paint was in horrible shape even after I was done. This time i did a full blown detail on it. Exterior/interior/engine. Ran out of time and did not get any interior shots.

    Process:
2 passes with 105 on a megs yellow wool pad
2 passes with 205 on a yellow soft buff pad
    1 pass with a 2.0 finish pad
2 coats nxt about 8 hours apart

    Before:

    After:

Some reflections: Almost impossible to keep the dust off

    Thanks for viewing!!

Great Job!, I love Black. I am not familiar with using the 2.0 finishing pad, do add a lubricant to it.

Thank you. The customer wants to set up one of my signs with his/her car display at the show. Should be some good advertisment.

Thank you! I have had a lot of practice trying to keep our 2 black vehicles clean.

OK, so wow! The owners came and picked up the car. She actually started tearing up and they gave me an extra 200 bux. I dont know which feeling is better. The look that the customers have on their faces when they pick up their rides or getting the money.

LOL!!! Thanks man. I love the color black but they are a lot of work and great colors to have for advertisement. I have gotten a lot of details from keeping them clean and shiny. I still love the way your red pops!
