  • First *in-depth* detail

    Hey guys,

I've been searching through your posts on various waxes and techniques. Most informative I must say

Thought I'd *show off* my detail I did yesterday and today. Here's the process I followed (which I will follow from now on when I detail)

    Meguiars GC wash
    Meguiars Scratch-X (had minor swirling)
2xNXT (about 16 hours between layers)

I think it came out pretty good:

What do you guys think? It's been pouring outside and still is so I couldn't get shots of the entire car Thanks!

Looks like a great job to me! I'm kind of curious about the 'red' lighting in the garage though... Heat lamps? Neon?

Also, I've come to expect rain after a full detail. It's always in the cards for some reason. We're nearly 18 inches above normal precipitation for the year... go figure.

Very nice work. The paint looks wet and reflective. Great job.

          Thanks

The "red" lighting is acutally the walls. It's painted a light pink.

            Thanks, hehe.

All of it was done by hand. I'm looking to get Meguiars Dual Action tool to apply the waxes and such in the future so hopefully it'll look even better
