I did this black Audi yesterday, turned out really nice as you may have saw already. This morning the owner was at the store and when he came back out this was on the side of the car:
Not sure how it happened, there isnt a ding so I dont think someone opened their door on it. Maybe a lady rubbed up against it with her purse or something, who knows. The owner was more concerned with how I was going to remove it. It also appeared to be more of a scuff than an actual scratch.
I used Meguiars Ultimate Compound by hand with a yellow foam applicator pad. I then followed that with M66 Quick Detailer on the G110 to remove the slight hazing UC left behind.
I think I was able to completly remove it. I looked from a couple of different angles and up close, as well as under the sun. The owner was very pleased since this would have taken away from the overall detail.
