  • BMW E34 Quick Detail w/ D151

Had to send my E34 back to the workshop for the inspection and to attend to some minor issues. As usual, this is how the car came back.

The stains were quite bad so washed with APC 1:10 and clayed with ONR lube.

As I wanted to only do a quick detail, polishing and wax with D151. Sealed with Opti-Seal. The results were pretty good for a quick detail.

    Front hood, before.

    After.

    Rear boot, before.

    After.

    More afters.

Check out the new BBS Center Caps. :-)

    Aaaahhhh, clean and shiny again.

Thanks for looking. Comments and feedback always welcome.

Looks great for a "quickie" for sure!

Thanks Mark. It was most definitely a 'quickie'. Fortunately the car is white so probably less sensitive to 'quickies'.

Looks great. I think it is time to get a new body shop. Your car should not have been returned to you looking like that. But, you saved it. Way to go.

They had wanted to wash the car first but I told them not to touch it so that's why it was returned in such a condition.

Better not to let your mechanic 'wash' your car....

Thanks Tracy. I'm sure they would cause more 'damage' that way.
