  • Nice little GTO...

Got an awesome opportunity to take this GTO to a new level! As some of you know, I’m a huge fan of the classics, and the GTO and the 66-67 Nova’s are at the top of my list. So when the owner called with this car, I jumped at the chance!

Car wasn’t in too bad of shape, but did need some love. Paint was pretty thin, so I tried to take it as easy as possible on it.

Not a great respray, but you turned it around. Looks gorgeous. What a beautiful color, too.

                    Re: Nice little GTO...

THANKS!!! Nick! My first car in high school (late 70's) was a '67 Goat. The one here looks like it's a '66. Thanks you for all of the interior shots and engine shots - really brought back some memories. Although my engine never looked as built as the one in your photos, it was still a rockin' 400 CID, Quadrajet fire-breathing beast. 15 mpg back when gas was 55 cents a gallon.
I saw a restored '67 three years ago. Asking price: $35,000
